How To Get Involved

Studio Time/Workshop Hours:

VRS hosts daily studio time/workshop hours, during which members can learn to produce and record music or receive mentorship in songwriting, beat-making, and more. All sessions are staffed by professional recording engineers, and a selection of sessions are staffed by our student executive producers as well. During sessions with student executive producers, you can receive a more tailored mentorship/recording experience.

Register for studio time here. On the Sketta page, see the columns titled “VERSE Studio C/D” and select a time. Currently, you can reserve up to 2 hours of studio time per day. While we are trying to organize evening hours, we will currently be open 9am-4pm.

Events:

VRS hosts a wide range of events designed to encourage collaborative creation, help you find friends in the studio, and just relax and have fun. All members are welcome to attend. Connect to our GroupMe and AnchorLink to stay in the loop about all upcoming events.

West End Blend:

Every spring, VRS releases a compilation album showcasing original music created by Vanderbilt students. For those interested in having their work featured, be sure to attend open hours and studio events.
